You're the Apple, Kill the Snake

You're the Apple, Kill the Snake is a unique twist on the traditional classic Snake game where instead of being the snake that eats apples (which doesn't make sense in real life btw), you're the apple that must KILL the snake. (REVENGE OF THE COMEBACK!)

HOW TO PLAY

Controls

Just click on the map using your mouse. Or Touch the screen on your phone. That's how you move.

Game Mechanics

• The Snake moves around the Map and eats apples. You're an Apple and some AI apples.
• AI apples are attracted to you when they're near you. 
• The area with "TORNS" is the safe zone. When AI Apples reach this zone, they become THORN APPLES.
• THORN apples in turn will be ATTRACTED to the SNAKE. 
• Once the SNAKE eats the THORN APPLES, it gets damaged and gets its LENGTH reduced.
• You get APPLE MONEY from luring AI APPLES on the THORN zone.
• Use APPLE MONEY for UPGRADES!
• Once the SNAKE reaches a ZERO or NEGATIVE length, you have FINISHED the game!

This game is my submission for GMTK 2023 Game Jam.

This year's theme is "ROLES REVERSED".

I basically just made this game in  6 hrs because I spent the first 24 hrs thinking of what game to make and the rest just sleeping off. Those six hours are very bloody tho!!
