Card Generator for Uncontained - SCP Card Game

This tool is the private custom software used by Kenoma to hasten the development of Uncontained: An SCP Card Game.

On this 2nd Edition of the tool, you'll now be able to generate SCP cards faster and much more accurately formatted to the current version of the SCP card game, alongside the updated icons for SCP card tags and effects.

I hope this tool encourages more people to contribute to the Uncontained community!

How to Use this Tool?

1. Ideate and design your cards first!

Before using this tool, you will need a text (.TXT) file that contains all the data needed to generate your SCP cards. These are the SCP card names, types, effects, etc. In order to make that, you will have to make a copy of this Ideation Sheet Template.

After that, it's now your task to fill in the spreadsheet with information about your SCP cards! (I'll make a separate tutorial for this one soon!)

Once you're done, you will have to select a cell within the sheet and press CTRL+A to select all the used cells and copy it with CTRL+C.

Then, create a blank text document and paste all the info you copied through CTRL+V.

2. Create your artworks

Now that you have your .TXT file as a database, you'll need an "image directory" for all the SCP artworks of your cards.

Please take note of the following:

• The filenames of the images within that directory must be identical to the corresponding "Card Code" name of it from your card data from the Ideation sheet.
• Images must exactly have a 500x500 size.
• And images must be in the .JPG file format.

3. Select an export path and generate!

Now that you have your card info and artworks, it's time to generate the cards!
