The Flesh Expansion (SCP-610) Major Update
Hi again, fellas!
Sorry I was asleep for more than a month. Lots of shit happened, and you know, the pandemic. K-Class Scenario isn't really fun, huh?
Anyway, I'm going to make a big announcement!
The Flesh That Hates Expansion is now refurbished with a lot of stuff! Here is the new stuff:
1.) The Flesh That Hates Expansion (along with other future expansions) will now contain extra civilian cards from the Core Set. Since we need more civilians to compensate with the horrible shit in these expansions, right? Also, 54 would be the deck size of all future expansions.
2.) Since we'll be having at least 2 Active scenarios on The Flesh That Hates Expansion, we'll also be introducing a new mechanic/rule for them to prevent any confusion.
So, at the moment, since the current End of the World and Lifted Veil Scenario cards are "Instants", they're more like Breach cards and triggers immediately when Drawn.
However, for Active scenarios (those with the location logo) must be placed somewhere in the middle of the table or anywhere around the deck piles. That way, players will always see that can won't easily forget to apply their effect every time.
UPDATE: In case there's already an existing Active scenario in play when a new Active scenario is drawn, Discard the existing Active scenario and add the new Active scenario. If the existing Active scenario can't be discarded, immediately Discard the new Active scenario instead.
3.) Future Scenarios will now have those "leaking" art, and this also applies to the SCP gods. Here's a sample art for the God-Eater, Yaldaboath or the God of Flesh.
4.) UPDATE (Beta 2): There would now be "Multi-phase" anomalies in the game, which should add a whole new level of gameplay and thematic depth to the game itself!
I have been indeed thinking about doing this for a while now, but I wasn't really sure how it'd turn out. Now, we'll see what'll happen...
I think that's most of the big changes and new updates.
Here's some preview of the new cards:
The High Karcist
Since we now have at least 6 scenarios on the game, a card that can have full control over one of them would spice things up!
SCP-1312 a.k.a Site-41
This anomaly card is originally part of the Core Set, but since we don't really have that many characters on it, I removed it. Now that we're adding 22 new character cards, it'll prove itself more useful.
Safety Subcommittee Officer
This was one of my most favorite cards that became boring on the Core Set so I removed it. Now, considering the new SCP-610 effect and the damn Flesh Beasts, we need her more than ever!
Protocol 12
Protocol 12 was just suggested once or twice from the Discord server, and it immediately piqued my curiosity. And now, it's here, designed to help us against the SCP Gods!
What do you think of the current expansion? Help us playtest this by joining our Discord server and playing it along with us on Table Top Simulator!
All of these artworks are created by none other than SINSEKAI! Check his art, they're all good!
